About Baby Einstein
Originally developed by a mother, the Baby Einstein company strives to create enriching, interactive products and media for infants and young children. The innovation offered by the company is the creation of learning/play materials from a small child's point of view.
In 1997, the company was born from the mind of Julie Aigner-Clark., a mother and teacher who wished to expose young children to the classic gifts of art, music, language, and more in a way that was exciting, enjoyable, and most of all -- in a way that made sense to their young, growing minds. Today, the company has a vast array of products and media available. In 2001, Baby Einstein joined with the Walt Disney company to expand the scope and distribution of the products. Current collections include products aimed at preschoolers as well as infants.
