Baby Health Insurance
Does your health insurance cover your baby? Are you worried because you don't think that you can afford coverage? Insurance can be expensive, but there is help. Your state probably has a health plan that you can purchase or that is free for your child. Be sure and do an Internet search for Children's Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) for your state. Each state has its own insurance site. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has a wonderful program entitled WIC, which stands for Women, Infants, and Children and offers free food, such as cereal and milk, to families who meet certain requirements. For more information, contact your local health department, and read the article on baby health insurance.
