Hi! I bought the Graco Turbo Booster Car Seat with High Back in Ionic about two weeks ago, and my son and I have been using it and loving it. However, I took him to the baby sitter's today and she asked me to leave the seat with her in case she decided to take him somewhere. When I came to pick up my son later in the afternoon, she told me she called the police station and they informed her that my son was not ready for a high back booster seat. My son is 2 and a half years old, but he fits in the car seat perfectly! He weighs 31 pounds, and he is tall enough for the seat. I don't know what to do! I am considering calling the police station myself and learning the California Child Safety Seat Laws, because I can't find very much information on-line. Please give me some feedback as to what I should do! Thank you.
