I also started out breastfeeding, but after breast augmentation, I did not produce milk as fast as my little guy wanted it!! The medela pump was awesome!!! I was able to express 4-5 ozs in less than 15 minutes and my son was able to receive the great benefits of breastmilk!! And I was relieved of the sore bleeding nipples!!

I started out breastfeeding & my baby did great at first. Then he suddenly stopped getting on the one side at all, but ate from the other just fine. Then he stopped getting on both sides all together. Nothing worked, so I started pumping & giving it in a bottle. He loves to eat this way!! I am using the Pump in Style & love it. It is very fast & I love being able to use the battery pack, so I know I can pump anywhere I happen to be at. I borrowed the pump from my sister in law & purchased new membranes & tubing for it. The people who say its unsanitary & shouldn't be done, work for the pump companies!! lol. I see nothing wrong with it & it saved a great deal of money.
